The Ministry of Health has authorized the use of COVID-19 drug Molnupiravir for emergency conditions.
The Ministry said that Molnupiravir is an oral and oral anti-COVID pill that is safe and highly effective for treating COVID-19.
Molnupiravir is manufactured by Mylan Laboratories Limited, based in India.
The Ministry of Health states that the conditions for the use of this drug are used only during the public health emergency of COVID and is an alternative treatment that is under research and evaluation and used under the priority of the Royal Government, As stated in the current national medicine deployment plan and priority groups.
