Indications

• Adjunctive treatment of nervous system disturbances, e.g. neuralgias, peripheral, optic, diabetic and alcoholic neuritis, polyneuritis, paresthesia, sciatica and convulsion due to hyper-irritability of the central nervous system.

Dosage

• Take 1 – 2 tablets x 1 – 3 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Usage

• Scanneuron is taken orally.

• Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
• Malignant tumor.

Vitamin B₁: Adverse effects with vitamin B₁ are rare.

Vitamin B₆: Long-term use of doses of vitamin B₆ (200 mg/daily more than 2 months) is associated with the development of severe peripheral neuropathies. Rare: nausea and vomiting.

Vitamin B₁₂: Rarely adverse reactions include anaphylactic, fever, reactions with acne form, urticaria, pruritus, skin flush.

• Symptoms of dependency have been noted in adults given 200 mg vitamin B₆ daily, for over 30 days.
• Vitamin B₁₂ should not be given to patients with suspected vitamin B₁₂ deficiency without first confirming the diagnosis.
• During pregnancy, especially in the first trimester.
• Nursing mothers.
• Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.
• Effects of this medication on ability to drive and use machines are unknown.
