Scanneuron-Forte

Indications

• Adjunctive treatment of nervous system disturbances, e.g. neuralgias, peripheral, optic, diabetic and alcoholic neuritis, polyneuritis, paresthesia, sciatica and convulsion due to hyper-irritability of the central nervous system.

Dosage

• Take 1 tablet daily or as directed by the physician.

Usage

• Scanneuron-Forte is taken orally.

• Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.
• Malignant tumor.

• Vitamin B1:
  Adverse effects with vitamin B1 are rare.
• Vitamin B6:
  Long-term use of doses of vitamin B6 (200 mg/daily more than 2 months) is associated with the development of severe peripheral neuropathies. Rare: nausea and vomiting.
• Vitamin B12:
  Rarely adverse reactions include anaphylactic, fever, reactions with acne form, urticaria, pruritus, skin flush.

• Symptoms of dependency have been noted in adults given 200 mg vitamin B6 daily, for over 30 days.
• Vitamin B12 should not be given to patients with suspected vitamin B12 deficiency without first confirming the diagnosis.
• The usual precautions should be observed when administering the drug during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, and nursing mothers.
• Effect and safety of the drug on children have not been established.
• Patients with wheat allergy (different from coeliac disease) should not take Scanneuron-Forte.
• Effects of the drug on ability to drive and use machines are unknown.
