Rx

Indications

• Angioedema due to embolism, cerebral hemorrhage, concussion, acute encephalitis, brain surgery, compression (due to a hematoma, tumor …).
• Prevention and treatment of edema due to various types of surgery, especially cosmetic and maxillofacial surgery.
• Spinal pain syndrome (neck, back, waist).
• Edema due to trauma, fractures, bumps, dislocations …
• Venous thrombosis, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, thrombophlebitis.

Dosage

• Initial dose: 40 mg (1 tablet) x 3 times daily.
• Maintenance dose and for mild cases: 40 mg (1 tablet) x 1 or 2 times daily.

Usage

• Administered orally, after meals.

• Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the formulation.
• Edema due to cardiovascular disease, hemolysis, due to kidney disease origin.
• Patients at risk of embolism.
• Women taking oral contraceptives.
• First trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Itching, edema of the larynx;
• Hypotension.

• Use caution in patients with renal impairment (soft tissue injury, traumatic brain injury, severe burns).
• This medicine should not be used in patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
• First trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Patients should be aware of how they react to drug before driving or operating machinery.
