Rx

Indications

• Treatment of hypertension.
• Treatment of stable or unstable angina in patients requiring simultaneous control of blood pressure and cholesterol.
• Dyslipidemia or high risk of coronary artery disease.

Dosage

• The usual starting dose is one tablet daily.
• The physician will adjust the dosage as appropriate, depending on the patient’s condition and the progression of the disease.

Administration

• Orally administered.

• Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.
• Patients with hepatic impairment.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Possible adverse reactions:

• Edema,
• Diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, indigestion,
• Dizziness, fatigue,
• Muscle pain, joint pain, or back pain,
• Facial flushing, sensation of heat.

• The safety and efficacy of Stefamlor 5/20 have not been established in children and the elderly.
• Monitor liver function before and during treatment with this medication.
• Exercise caution when co-administering with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, fibrates, or grapefruit juice.
• This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per tablet; it is essentially considered “sodium-free.”
• Do not drive or operate machinery during treatment ưith Stefamlor 5/20.
