Indications

Stadmazol 100 is used to treat vaginitis caused by:

• Fungi (usually Candida).
• Trichomonas.
• Superinfection by bacteria sensitive to clotrimazole.
  Taking more anti-trichomonas drugs to thoroughly treat trichomonas vaginitis needs to be prescribed by a doctor.

Usage and Dosage

• One vaginal tablet every evening for 6 consecutive days. Stadmazol 100, vaginal suppositories should be best placed in the evening into the vagina as deeply as possible. It is best to lie on your back, knees slightly bent.
• Stadmazol 100 vaginal tablets need moisture in the vagina for complete disintegration, otherwise undissolved fragments may be pushed out of the vagina. To prevent this, it is important to insert the medicine into the vagina as deeply as possible at bedtime.
• Do not ingest.
• If the symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, the patient should consult a doctor.
  Stadmazol 100 treatment can be repeated as needed, however relapses may be due to a cause including diabetes, or HIV infection. Patients should see a doctor if symptoms return within 2 months.
• Treatment during the menstrual period should not be performed. The treatment should be finished before the onset of menstruation.
• Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using Stadmazol 100 vaginal tablet.
• Avoid intercourse while using Stadmazol 100 because infection can be transmitted to your partner, and may reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex products such as condoms and diaphragms.
• Stadmazol 100 vaginal tablets can be used during pregnancy but should not be used with an intrauterine device.
• The drug can be used for adults and children 12 years of age and older. 

Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

• Angioedema, anaphylactic reactions, hypersensitivity.
• Hypotension, syncope.
• Shortness of breath.
• Rash, urticaria.
• Vulvovaginal itching, vulvovaginal burning, vulvovaginal erythema, vaginal skin peeling, vulvovaginal discomfort, vulvovaginal pain, vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge.
• Abdominal pain, nausea.
• Skin irritation, edema, pain at the application site.

• In case of fever (temperature 38°C and above), abdominal pain, back pain, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding, and/or associated shoulder pain, the patient should consult a doctor.
• If vaginal tablets and latex products (e.g. condoms, diaphragms) are used at the same time, the auxiliary substances (particularly stearates) may reduce their functionality and thus impair the safety of these products. This effect is temporary and only occurs during treatment.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Avoid eye contact.
• Do not ingest.
• Stadmazol 100 can be used during pregnancy and lactation under medical advice.
• The drug has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machinery.
