Indications

• The relief of flatulence and abdominal discomfort due to excess gastrointestinal gas in disorders such as dyspepsia and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. For many gastrointestinal disorders, it is given with an antacid.
• Using as a defoaming agent in radiography or endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage

• Adults and children older than 12 years of age: 0.6 ml – 1.8 ml x 4 times daily, total dosage should not exceed 7.5 ml daily.
• Children 2 – 12 years of age: 0.6 ml x 4 times daily (with a maximum dosage for self-medication of 3.6 ml daily).
• Children younger than 2 years of age: 0.3 ml x 4 times daily (with a maximum dosage for self-medication of 1.8 ml daily)

Usage

• Simethicone STELLA is only administered orally after meals and at bedtime.
• Using the dropper to measure the volume.

• Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

There is no any effect on the body.

• No administration when this drug has changed color, foreign odor or the emulsion is separated into two layers.
• Simethicone should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk.
• No data on excreting of simethicone in human milk are available.
• Patients should be aware of how they react to drug before driving or operating machinery.
