A gastric antacid in the form of aluminium phosphate gel. The film of the finely dispersed aluminium phosphate allows rapid healing of inflammation and mucosal ulceration, protects the gastric mucosa from external influences, and thus rapidly alleviates the patient’s discomfort.

PRESCRIBING INFORMATION

Indications:

  • Oesophagitis, acute and chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastric irritation, over acidity symptoms (e.g. heartburn, acid eructation, hyperacidity).
  • Gastric discomfort due to other medicaments, after dietary lapses or overuse of nicotine, coffee, sweets, or highly spiced foods.
  • Complications from hiatal hernia, colitis (Morbus Crohn).

Usage:

1 – 2 sachets, between meals or when discomfort occurs.

Administration: 

Oral administration.

Known hypersensitivity to any of the active substance or excipients.

Constipation; large doses can cause intestinal obstruction.

  • Long-term treatment with high doses should be avoided in patients with renal impairment, pregnant women.
  • Breastfeeding woman.
