OTC

Indications

• Reduce bloating and abdominal distension caused by gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract in adults.

Dosage

• Adults should take 1–2 tablets as needed, after meals and before bedtime.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours unless otherwise directed by a doctor.

Usage

• Chew the Ex-gas TAB 80 tablet thoroughly in mouth for as long as possible before swallowing.
• Do not swallow the tablet whole.

• History of hypersensitivity to Simethicone or to any ingredients of the drug.
• Known or suspected bowel obstruction or perforation.

Commons

• Mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.

• Use caution when using simethicone to treat abdominal pain in young children.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Limit consumption of carbonated drinks and foods that cause gas.
• Ex-gas TAB 80 contains lactose and is not suitable for individuals with rare genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
• Ex-gas TAB 80 contains mannitol, which may cause a mild laxative effect in some cases.
• The therapeutic benefits should be weighed against the potential risks when used in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
• Ex-gas TAB 80  does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
